'Awapuhi is a bold magenta red and an excellent choice for a primary red in your palette. In Hawaiian, 'Awapuhi is the name of a one-of-a-kind looking flower, the shampoo ginger.

★ ALOHA WATERCOLORS are handmade with Organic Hawaiian honey, glycerine, Acacia sap (gum arabic) and artist grade pigments. 'Awapuhi is mulled meticulously and over a period of 100 minutes, then poured and dried 4 times in layers. The process takes about 6-7 weeks.
