Lavarit (actually it's Lalvarit but I forgot one of the L) is such an interesting natural earth pigment, originating from lava flows. It appears brownish gray at first, but has a slight purple undertone. Great for landscape paintings.
★ Pigment code PR 102
★ Lavarit is part of the Naupaka set.
★ ALOHA WATERCOLORS are handmade with Organic Hawaiian honey, glycerine, Acacia sap (gum arabic) and artist grade pigments. Lavarit is mulled meticulously and over a period of 50 minutes, then poured and dried 4 times in layers. The process takes about 2 weeks.
